Lílian Santos Marques Severino

Biography

Lílian Santos Marques Severino is the Chief Economist of CADE, Brazil’s primary federal national competition regulator and antitrust authority. Prior to becoming Chief Economist, she was the former Head of the Advisory Unit at the Office of the President, former Coordinator-General of Antitrust Analysis at the Office of the Superintendent General, and former Assistant Chief Economist of the Department of Economic Studies, at CADE. Lilian has extensive experience in merger reviews and has conducted ex-post empirical studies on merger remedies.
