Biography

Alan Meese is the Ball Professor of Law and the Director of the Center for the Study of Law & Markets at William & Mary School of Law, where he has won three awards for faculty excellence as well as the Law School’s annual teaching award. He has authored or co-authored more than fifty articles and essays for publication in leading journals, such as the Georgetown Law Journal, Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, New York University Law Review, University of Chicago Law Review, University of Pennsylvania Law Review, Michigan Law Review, and many others. Alan has also served as Senior Advisor to the Antitrust Modernization Commission from 2004 – 2007, on the Boards of the Bork Foundation and the Antitrust Education Project, and is an Academic Affiliate of the International Center for Law & Economics.
