Biography

Alexandre Cordeiro Macedo is the founding partner of Alexandre Cordeiro Advocacia, a law firm specializing in administrative law, antitrust law, and regulatory law. From 2021 to 2025, he was the President of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). In that position, he worked to strengthen the global presence of CADE in the antitrust community. He is a Professor of Economic Law and Law & Economics at the Brasília Law School. He has authored several books and published numerous articles in academic journals and newspapers.
