This video provides a brief overview of the role of merger guidelines generally, and the analytical techniques and methods in the 2010 Horizontal Merger Guidelines. While the 2010 Guidelines are no longer actively endorsed by the FTC and DOJ, the framework is adopted almost uniformly by federal courts and is critical to understanding modern Section 7 enforcement.
